Sensory Magic is a multi-sensory space, for all ages with or without disabilities!
Our Ethos at Sensory Magic is that everyone is treated and greeted with kindness and respect.
I was inspired by a young man I support to created Sensory Magic, it came out of love and the passion of seeing him enjoying all the wonders of sensory, the way he reacts to lights, touch and his interaction with our Interactive Floor is priceless.
Sensory Magic Opened in October 2021 and has continued to grow, offering private hire, 1-2-1 sessions, Meet-Greet-Explore & Sensory Baby classes, family, friends, carers & support worker hire, childminders, nurseries, schools and business use.
Our quiet corner!
Within in this area, we have a large Borealis Tube, where you can explore the dynamic array of light sequences, there you can use the wireless cube to design your own colour patterns. Fibre Optics that gently fade through various colours, Mirrors, relax in the bean bag or on the astro turf floor covering. This area will allow sensory seekers to experience lights, textures in a calming area.
Wall Projector!
We have various discs, fish, animails, safari, planets, space, alphabet & more. If you have a preference during your visit do ask and we will change it. We have other lights and projectors in different areas, each part of the main sensory room has different aids to ignite the senses....
Benefits of music!
We have many musical instruments available to use, within the multi-sensory room. Our large Ocean Drum provides wonderful sounds, vibrations and visual effects, we also have several smaller ones.
Instruments are simply to play enable creative experimentation and tactile exploration. They encourage motor skills, developing coordination while stimulating the imagination.
The user can often use music in away to balance themselves, while relieving some anxieties.
